In partnership with SOMEDCO and local pastors, we are building water wells for clean water and ministry among tribal groups in rural Vietnam. Project BackgroundBeneficiaries: Ngọc Lăc Community Population: 200 people Four Tribal Groups: Kinh, Mường , Giao, Thánh There are more than 200 members of the Ngọc Lăc Church, but the regular attendees are usually only 35-45 people in the main church and 15-25 people in the two groups of Lang Chanh and Quang Trung. Some of these faithful attendees live as far away as 55 km (34 miles) from the church. The church members are of four ethnic groups: Kinh, Mường , Giao, and Thánh, and there are over 70 children from among these ethnic groups in the church as well. Worship services are held in the universal Chinese language. 3 Wells Completed So FarThe wells are being built to help the church's people. This includes wells for the church building itself and also for homes to serve families with water difficulties.

It is operated by a lead pastor, an executive group, a consultant group, and collaborators. The MissionSOMEDCO partners with local churches to follow Jesus Christ in working with the poor and vulnerable people. SOMEDCO promotes transformation and bears witness about the Good News of the Kingdom of God to them. They pursue this mission through these holistic commitments:
