Please join us to pray for Dawt and Lian to be healed from tuberculosis. Dawt is a 10-year-old girl, and Lian is an 8-year-old boy. Here are the prayer request updates from Rev. Thang.

December 13, 2017: Dawt Diagnosed with TB

I humbly request you to kindly pray for Ms. Dawt, as she is suffering from tuberculosis. At first one clinic said she suffered from asthma, so we gave her some medicine for that. But it did not work. She was coughing constantly, and she could not go to school because of the nonstop coughing. The school advised us to scan her lungs. Then we brought her to the hospital and had the scan done, and they found tuberculosis.

We are so worried that the other orphans might get affected too. The doctor let us buy medicine outside of the hospital, and I could purchase only enough for 10 days. She has to take medicine for a minimum of 6 months. When she took the medicine she said that she felt more headache. We pray for her and believe that God will help her and she will be OK.

December 20, 2017: Trusting God for Healing

We are so sad that Ms. Dawt has tuberculosis, and we had a tough time for her medication. Due to her ailment, her educational improvement is delayed. Dawt is saved, and she trusts God for her total recovery.

January 14, 2018: Lian Diagnosed with TB

We covet your prayer support for our two orphans Ms. Dawt and Mr. Lian. Ms. Dawt is the one who originally had tuberculosis and is still having medication. The other orphan boy Mr. Lian also got affected with TB. Ms. Dawt is very weak now, as she is having 3 tablets every day. She feels nauseous, tired, and still has nonstop coughing. I brought both of them to the clinic today, and the doctor gave her some supplementary vitamins to resist the effects of the TB tablets.

Since Mr. Lian got affected from Ms. Dawt, we worry so much for all the other orphans in case they are affected too. We ask the Lord for His protection for the other orphans. We trust God is with us and He will protect the other orphans from the effect of tuberculosis.

Tomorrow morning I will bring them again to the clinic for a doctor’s appointment and to get some TB tablets.

January 21, 2018: Continued Prayer for Healing

I covet your prayer for the two orphans Ms. Dawt and Mr. Lian. They are so weak now. Every two days I bring them to the pediatrician and get advice or medication for their relief of nonstop coughing. They are taking TB medication on a regular basis too. Now Mr. Lian has no resistance, and the doctor suggested we admit him to the hospital. But we could not afford hospitalization, and my wife gives him a mixture of honey, hot water, and eggs. It is very useful for some time, and we ask God to heal them.

We believe that you are praying for the orphans’ recovery. Thank you for your prayer and concern.

In God’s service,
Rev Thang

January 30, 2018: Improvement

By your prayer support, Ms. Dawt and Mr. Lian are getting better. Ms. Dawt is becoming stronger and can resist the side effects of the TB medication. Mr Lian is also getting better, but he is still thin, and he needs more good nutrition.

Please continue to pray for the orphans' daily needs of foods and medication. Their daily food and medication is the main challenge.

Thanks for your heart of love and prayer.

In God's service,
Rev. Thang
