We are fortunate to have private sponsors who cover any overhead and transactional fees involved in the donations process to help your dollar completely reach the intended beneficiaries. And, we'll even show you exactly how the money was spent in our donor books.

Credibility

We understand that it can be difficult to donate to an organization far from home. However, Transparent Fish Fund has already done the legwork for you to ensure that every organization or cause on our site is credible. Our rigorous partner application process and due diligence procedures, plus our monthly audits and required financial reporting standards mean that you can invest safely every time you donate.

Transparency

Like our name implies, transparency is a key component of our mission. To facilitate transparency in East Asian nonprofit culture, we require all of our partners to disclose exactly how they used the financial support they received from us or our donors. Accountability

We firmly believe that nonprofits should be required to report on how their finances are used. We have developed and tested an accounting book that takes into account current processes and resources of East Asian grassroots NGOs. While we distill that information into a more presentable format in our donor books, the raw data is available as well for interested parties. Accountability accomplished.
