April 2015: Mr. Gary Wong, the new Treasurer, launches Faith and Finance in East Palo Alto. May 2015: Adopt a Family launches, providing poverty relief care opportunities for 50 families in Gansu. Microloan pilot project launches, providing 20 Muslim village families with livestock. June 2015: Donors provide funds to build 2 more bridges in Vietnam, creating safer paths for the villagers. August 2015: Second Donor Appreciation Dinner October 2015: Vietnamese Christian Restoration Ministry becomes a new field partner, discipling addicts at rehabilitation centers in Hanoi. November 2015: TFISH expands to Cambodia with new field partner World Toilet Organization, building floating toilets for the floating villages in Cambodia |

March 2014: An art exhibit featuring work by renowned artist He Yuanming raises funds for Hongyan, the 1000th child helped by the Little Red Scarf Heart Surgery program.
April 2014: New bridge construction project begins in rural Vietnam. June 2014: TFISH expands to Hong Kong, partnering with Changing Young Lives and HIS Foundation. Volunteers help run the first LRS Care Summer Camp in Gansu. July 2014: LRS expands to Yunnan, partnering with China Cal in the Pediatric Heart Training and Evaluation Program December 2014: 164 individual donors help us exceed our $100,000 fundraising goal. |
2012October 2012: Regional conferences in Beijing, Chengdu, and Lanzhou are held for grassroots partners.
November 2012: Staff and volunteers perform first round of due diligence visits in China and Vietnam. December 2012: Over 200 NGO partners join our Grassroots Transparency and Capacity Building Program. Orphan Impact becomes a new field partner, providing computer training for orphans in Vietnam. |
2011September 2011: Transparent Fish Fund is registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
October 2011: Ping and Amy Chao, Co-Founders of TFISH, join the Board of Advisors. They establish a separate administrative overhead fund so that 100% of donations can go toward benefiting the cause. October 2011: The first conference to launch TFish Fund and Grassroots Capacity Building Program in China attracts over 100 NGO leaders. December 2011: The first donor books and donation impact reports are published and sent to donors. |
