2018 Expansion Snapshot: ZOE Thailand

We have seen many more people come to Christ—well over 1,000 people this year alone! We reached over 5,000 people through our human trafficking prevention programs. We partnered with law enforcement officers from the USA who provided tactical training for elite TICAC officers who conduct rescue and who ZOE serves alongside.

We are finding continued favor—ZOE received numerous awards from several Thai government agencies for our outstanding work in anti-human trafficking. We also became the first non-profit in Northern Thailand to be officially licensed as a Child Protection Center for human trafficking. We have also been able to partner with local pastors all around Thailand through our Mercy Network Ministry and empower them to reach their community.

We rejoice that 135 children/youth survivors are flourishing and healing under our care. Many teens are healing and finding a new life in our new Child Rescue Center. We have received many requests to take more children into our center. But recently we could not accept any more children because we just don't have enough staff to care for them all. We are praying for more funding so we can hire more staff.

Share the love of Jesus in a nation where 1.7% is Christian
There is nothing quite like getting out of your comfort zone and seeing others who are in desperate need of the gospel message.

Fulfill the great commission
It is the command of God! Mark 16:15

Encourage full-time missionaries
Missionaries far from home need encouragement, resources, and extra hands.

Use your gifts and talents for kingdom purposes
Having God’s heart for the nations makes us better Christians, resulting in our service to Him to grow and expand wherever He plants us.

Meet children who are ready to love and be loved
The person who holds the orphan in loving arms all day is just as useful to God as the person standing before thousands proclaiming the good news.

ZOE: Year-End Update 2016

1/9/2017

ZOE International rescues and cares for orphans and trafficked children, primarily in Thailand. Our support is providing preventative healthcare (nutrition, medical, and dental care) for the 75 long-term children in their care.

In 2016, TFish support enabled ZOE children to receive essential preventative healthcare, including flu vaccines, vitamins, and de-worming medicine.

Vitamins: We provided one complete multi-vitamin per child per day for one year.

The ZOE kitchen prepares over 450 meals per day for their children, staff, and volunteers. Over the years they have made great strides in improving the nutritional level for our children. Improvements include having fresh fruit at every dinner meal and a box of milk for each child with the morning meal. Although the amount of food is plentiful, they believe that there are certain minerals and vitamins missing from the children’s diet. For example, vitamin C and iron are lacking due to lower citrus and protein consumption. Having a full complement of necessary vitamins and minerals is essential during the critical developmental years of children and teens.
