Agape Fish Fund partners with Pastor Charlie and Mary to provide basic necessities and Christian care for exploited migrant workers in Taiwan. Letter from Pastor CharlieDear family and friends,
In God’s grace, our family returned to Taiwan. The children have gone back to school and seen classmates that they hadn’t seen for a long time. We were concerned about how they would catch up with their friends in terms of academics and the school’s atmosphere. To our surprise, we are proud that our young ones have been adjusting fine and are happy. Praise God for the relief in our heart! A number of ladies have become Christians. Subsequently, we’ve been teaching basic lessons of faith in preparation for baptism at Easter. Furthermore, a few others have diligently witnessed to their families. God has used their testimonies to touch the hearts of their loved ones. It’s exciting news! Thank you for partnering in prayers and support. Celebrating 20 YearsWe are so grateful for everyone who has been serving by tutoring, mentoring, and discipling through the low-income tutoring ministry over the years. Last year, 2018, marked the 20th anniversary of when the first group of volunteers moved into different apartments (355 and 360) on O'Keefe Street back in 1998 and started hanging out with the kids.
There have been so many changes over the past 20 years, but God has remained faithful through it all. We are so grateful that he continues to draw people to the neighborhood and the tutoring program. We are praying for all of the volunteers and the families they touch!
