Agape Fish Fund partners with local churches and volunteers to provide meals, supplies, and Christian support for the homeless in San Jose, California. May 12th OutreachOn Saturday, May 12, 2018, a group of 7 volunteers was able to serve 14 homeless people. This was a two-part outreach. Part 1: Homeless Came to Us for FoodDuring this outreach, we got in contact with my friend Nelva, who goes to church at the Christian Worship Center. She supplied pastries, breakfast burritos, and fruit for us to pass out. This was an event where we were able to set up tables, and have the homeless come to us, and whatever extra we had, we went out to the encampments and passed out.

In partnership with SOMEDCO, we build sturdy houses for families living in extreme poverty in Vietnam and share the gospel with them. We thank God for the opportunity to help the Do Thanh Huong family in Vietnam build a new house, our 2nd house in partnership with SOMEDCO. About the FAmilyDo Thanh Huong was born in 1952, and his wife, Huynh Thi Thu was born in 1954. This couple is Christian, and they attend the Moc Hoa church. Mr. Do Thanh Huong used to be a deacon at the church.
After he suffered from a serious liver disease for a long time, he was healed by God. However, he still has weak health. Mrs. Huynh Thi Thu is a housewife, and she also suffers from poor health. They have 7 children, who all have their own families and work as hired laborers far away from home. Mother's Day Greetings and Vietnam Homes Where is the Mom?The mother of these 3 children suffers from poor health and can't work. Their family lives in a cramped house that leaks—but that's all they can afford. So we're helping them get a new house! 470 out of 2,500 $100 sponsorships. If 2,500 people each give $100 this year, we can help meet physical and spiritual needs for 500 children and families in 7 different countries. Read the original e-newsletter.

UPdate Letter: May 2018Dear Agape Fish Fund, Thank you very much for your dedicated support of your sponsored children in Cambodia. You are changing lives through your support in prayer, finance, and talents. The children and staff appreciate it very much. trip to cambodiaI visited New Hope for Orphans in Cambodia for three weeks during the month of March; traveling to each children's home with three of the NHO head office staff: Sokhom Sor, NHO Administrator, Sarah John, NHO Financial Coordinator, and Vannak Hong, NHO Child Communications Coordinator. We had a good trip. The mission of the trip was to continue to develop relationships, see how everyone is doing, and gather information to help NHO continue to improve and prepare for the growth coming its way.
