Monthly Project Report: Burma Orphans (Aug 2018)

Agape Fish Fund partners with Adonai Child Rehabilitation, a Christian ministry in Kalaymyo, Burma, to provide discipleship, education, and nutrition to orphans and poor children.

Flooding

This month was very eventful. Due to constant heavy rains, the water level rose to the point of flooding the orphans' dormitory. The flooding was so severe that we decided to temporarily move all the orphans to another safe place. Meanwhile, we did our best to prevent the water from damaging the household items. We thank the Lord for helping us during this situation.

Dawt's Health

Another challenge this month was that Dawt got sick. The doctor diagnosed that she has a virus infection in her stomach, and she couldn't go to school for many days. She is now  taking medication at Wesley Hospital. We are waiting for God's help to provide for her medication. We covet your prayers and partnership.

Joy In Daily Life

It is a joy to work with the orphans, whether we are fixing things around the house together, cutting their hair, teaching them, or enjoying a very delicious meal of meat. We thank God for His provision.
