Monthly Project Report: Cambodia Orphans (Jun 2019)

Agape Fish Fund partners with Southeast Asian Prayer Center (SEAPC) to provide orphans and children in Cambodia with a Christian home and education.

Pool and Pizza

Some volunteers came to visit Soklang (one of the children we sponsor) and the other kids at the Kampong Cham children's home. The volunteers spent time with the kids eating pizza, chicken, and other nice foods. They took all the kids on outings, such as to the swimming pool. Soklang was so excited.

Soklang's Letter

Dear Sponsor,
Hello to my two sponsors. How are you? Is your family's health okay? As for me, I am doing okay. Right now, I study in 1st grade. I have received number 10 in my class. My English is improving at school too! At the orphanage, I have enough food to eat—I eat 3 meals a day. I have a place to sleep and new clothes to wear. For Christmas, I received a bike, a towel, and candy, and shampoo. Thank you so much for always helping me every year.

Final Exams at School
The 2018-2019 school year in Cambodia will be coming to an end very soon. It is either at the end of July or early in August. Either way, the children all need your prayers as they prepare and take their final exams.

Dengue Fever
Please pray with us. We have heard that there is a problem with Dengue Fever in Cambodia right now. There is really no treatment except to stay hydrated and rest. Some kids are affected. Please pray for quick recovery for these kids and that no others will catch it.

Most recently, local ministries have traveled to the home to provide the kids with information about hygiene, dental care, and basic first aid.
