WESTMINSTER, CA —Agape Fish Fund is pleased to be the recipient of a $15,000 grant from The Chao Foundation to help fund our general mission. The grant will support our programs that provide practical and spiritual assistance to children and families in need in East Asia.

Supporting Kingdom Ministries in East Asia
Rural East Asia is one of the poorest, least-evangelized regions of the world. Our mission is to support kingdom ministries in East Asia to impact the world as Jesus commissioned. This year we are supporting 12 outreaches in 7 different countries that focus on poverty alleviation, as well as evangelism and long-term discipleship. These partnerships include projects such as supporting Christian orphanages in Burma, Cambodia, and Thailand, caring for prisoners and exploited laborers in Taiwan, building water wells and houses in Vietnam, and providing goats for ministry and income generation among minority tribal groups in Vietnam. The $15,000 grant will go directly toward supporting the ministries that have the most urgent needs in 2017. The funds will help not only the children and families in need, but also help the local grassroots leaders minister to them more effectively.
Capacity Building Training
We support grassroots pastors and holistic ministry leaders so they can more effectively minister to their least-reached locals. We are committed to due diligence and helping the ministry leaders grow. We pray for them, provide emotional and spiritual support, and help them develop transparency disciplines for financial credibility and sustainability. We even visit them in person to verify project efficacy and results first-hand. In the Christian community, we raise awareness and funds for the ministries to increase their support network. Our goal is to connect individuals, communities, and churches in the West with the ministries in East Asia, so they can more effectively serve their indigenous people in need. The Chao Foundation grant is a great blessing to our ministries and will impact the world with the gospel and poverty relief.
